- Lantelme Honey densimeter as a precise glass immersion densimeter / hydrometer for determining the water content in the honey in %. Length: 12.5 cm, top diameter: 0.5 cm, bottom diameter: 1.5 cm. Calibrated to 20°C, recommended minimum distance to walls: 30 mm, stabilisation time: min. 5 minutes, temperature correction: ±0.1% water per 1°C.
- The honey hydrometer / honey densimeter measures the water content over the density of the honey. The scale is calibrated directly in percent, so that the measured value can be easily read at the height of the liquid surface without conversion.
- Too high water content can affect the quality of honey and increase the risk of fermentation. With this hydrometer for honey, beekeepers quickly and reliably check whether the honey has reached the desired level of maturity for filling.
- The honey densimeter is easy to use: fill clean, bubble-free honey into a high measuring cylinder, carefully immerse the hydrometer, allow to float freely and read the value after settling. A proven measuring instrument without electronics, without batteries and without complicated operation.
